After spending nearly six years living in China as expats, travel became a defining part of our family life. When we returned home to the U.S., summers were reserved for reconnecting with family and friends—and finding places to stay that actually worked for real life. Time and again, we were disappointed by short-term rentals that looked good online but fell short in comfort, functionality, and thoughtful details.

So we decided to build what we couldn’t find.

Today, we own and operate a portfolio of 10 short-term rental properties designed with one goal in mind: creating places guests want to return to year after year. Our specialty is crafting memorable stays for multigenerational families and large groups, while also offering thoughtfully designed homes for smaller families and couples. As a family of six ourselves, we know firsthand how challenging travel can be—especially when traditional hotel rooms simply don’t work.

Carri leads with guest experience, design, and detail. She has an intuitive eye for how spaces feel, how guests move through a home, and what small touches make a stay exceptional. From curated local recommendations to constantly seeking out unique experiences for guests, she brings the same care to consulting that she brings to every property.

Dan brings the strategy. As a real estate professional and business executive with a strong financial background, he’s the numbers guy—often armed with spreadsheets, projections, and systems that keep everything running efficiently (much to Carri’s amusement). His expertise ensures every decision is both creative and financially sound.
